About Kundalini & KAP
1. What is Kundalini?
Kundalini is a fundamental inner life-force energy said to rest coiled at the base of the spine. When awakened, it rises through the chakra system, supporting greater awareness, clarity, and transformation.
2. What is the Kundalini Activation Process (KAP)?
KAP is a direct energy transmission or raw kundalini and non dual states of consciousness designed to gently awaken and expand the flow of Kundalini energy (prana-shakti) through the energy system.
3. How does KAP differ from traditional Kundalini yoga or meditation?
Unlike yoga or breathwork practices that generate energy through effort or self-willed practice, KAP facilitates an intelligent energetic transmission that awakens the system naturally without physical techniques or force whilst in a state or ‘surrender’/ ‘softening’ or deep relaxation..
What Happens in a Session
4. What should I expect during a session?
Participants usually lie down on a yoga mat and some music is played, while the facilitator holds space and channels the transmission by touching points on your body or from a distance, or by gaze. Responses vary — emotional release, physical sensations, spontaneous movement, insights, or deep stillness may occur. The music can be loud and people can sometimes make sounds too. This is normal.
5. Do I need prior experience before attending?
No prior experience with energy work, meditation, or yoga is required. The energy is intelligent and meets you where you are.
6. What do I need to bring or prepare?
Wear comfortable clothing, have a mat or blanket if that particular venue requests that you bring one, and avoid heavy meals 2 hours before the session. Bring an open heart and curiosity.
Safety & Suitability
7. Is KAP safe?
KAP is generally considered a gentle, natural process that supports balancing and energetic harmonisation. It is possible the you may bump limbs with another client in class. It is possible that you may strain a muscle from your movements on the floor, as after a workout class. Always listen to your body.
8. Who should not do KAP?
You should be physically ‘fit’ to attend class. Stretching, bending, shaking are common movements on the yoga mat so those with back or joint issues may want to discuss it with facilitator first and seek professional medical fitness approval. People prone to psychosis, mania, or severe emotional instability and schizophrenia cannot attend a class. Pregnant individuals over 7 months are advised not to attend because of the physical movements. Other stages of pregnancy are asked to take care and consult with a medical professional before attending.
Also people who have no interest at all in their own spiritual path, identity, karma, spiritual progression and the biggest questions of the Universe. Because attending a KAP class could make you aware of these aspects of life. KAP sessions are sacred and not entertainment.
9. Can people with anxiety/depression participate?
This is a big reason for many people attending. Yes, many report benefits. However, if you’re on medication it can lessen the sensations of KAP. Never come off medication without medical advice and support. Those with Mania, Delusional or schizophrenic illnesses are not able to receive KAP. It’s wise to check in with your healthcare provider if you are concerned. KAP is not a healing modality and makes no claims to be able to heal you. You can only heal yourself.
10. Can children attend?
Children cannot accompany you to a class. If you’d like your child to receive this will need discussing with me. Children do not need more life force energy in general. Older teenagers attending will need the permission of their parent/carer.
11. Will I definitely feel something?
At least 90% of clients have extraordinary experiences their first session. Usually on your second or third class you have dramatic physical sensations and mental realisations. Less people experience subtle shifts or gradual integration over time and everyone benefits from attending a class whether they ‘feel’ it or not.
12. How many sessions do I need?
This varies per individual. Many people treat activation as an ongoing practice or part of their spiritual support. The more you do the deeper you go. An immersion retreat is the ultimate in energetic shifts but you must attend a class or two before this.
13. What happens after a session?
Integration can include emotional shifts, greater clarity, or physical after-effects. Experiences differ widely. You will be advised to be prepared for further kriya, to ground yourself and feel fluctuations for up to a week. You will be ready for a deepening in another class, if needed, within a month.
14. Can sessions be online?
Some facilitators offer online transmissions. Their effectiveness may differ by individual preference.
15. How is KAP different from “traditional shaktipat”?
While both involve energetic transmission, KAP centres on its own lineage and method. Some people debate whether it’s pure Kundalini or prana-shakti activation but it’s effectiveness is undeniable.
16. What should I avoid before a session?
Avoid heavy meals, recreational drugs, or alcohol (as they may dull sensitivity to energy).
17. Has Juliet trained or been certified?
Yes —Selection process, deep inner work, personal awakening and spiritual dedication, rigorous training in Kundalini and Non duality L2. She is certified and registered with the KAP academy. Facilitating is a huge responsibility and requires unwavering energetic strength, courage and surrender. Juliet continues her spiritual education with a variety of complementary studies.
20. Is Kundalini activation dangerous?
Those with epilepsy, psychosis and mania or delusions cannot do KAP. KAP rewires the brain and the energetic flows in the body and maybe too strong for these individuals.
Kundalini is Life Force energy. It is in everything and everyone. It is your birthright and it would never hurt you. When energy is stirred and karma is sped up and processed it will create a new understanding of life and what you are. Those who are not interested in opening their eyes to themselves and the universe are discouraged from taking part in deep spiritual experiences like KAP.
21. Is KAP a “shortcut”?
Opinions vary widely. I consider KAP an extraordinary gift from the divine which gives greater numbers of souls the opportunity to awaken in this lifetime. I think this is happening now because it is very much needed. According to Kundalini Vidya this modality and it’s outcomes are theoretically not possible, however, the experience and evidence says otherwise. I believe, that the age of Aquarius has brought new tools & people to accelerate spiritual development and understanding.
22. Is an awakening the same as ongoing activation work?
An awakening refers to a deep transformation in consciousness, whereas activation work supports the energetic system and readiness for deeper shifts. Many describe activation as supportive rather than forcing awakening. A full Awakening cannot be accomplished by KAP alone, or any kind of force. Nothing can as it is ultimately ‘Grace’ and personal readiness, through work done over many lifetimes, which allows this phenomenon to happen.
Are all Kundalini Activators the same?
No, not all Kundalini Activators are the same.The Kundalini Activation Process (KAP) is the original Kundalini activation modality, founded by Master Venant Wong. KAP is a specific lineage with a defined transmission method, training pathway, and energetic framework.
Many Kundalini activations offered today are inspired by or derived from KAP, but are not part of the original KAP lineage. These may be adaptations, reinterpretations, or blended modalities. As a result, the quality, integrity, and potency of the transmission can vary significantly.
Activations outside the KAP lineage may be diluted, altered, or combined with other techniques, which can change how the energy is experienced. When choosing a facilitator, it’s helpful to understand their training, lineage, and depth of experience so you can make an informed decision. Are all facilitators the same?

Does KAP help with uncomfortable Kundalini Awakening Syndrome?
Yes — KAP can be supportive for people experiencing uncomfortable or overwhelming Kundalini symptoms, though it is not a medical treatment. Spontaneous Kundalini Awakening can be frightening and uncomfortable in a body that is not prepared for this greater energy. Simply being with an expert and other’s who understand what you are going through is hugely beneficial.
